Clare Rose Inc. has broadened its reach to not only social and environmental responsibility, but philanthropy as well.
The Rose family has long contributed to the Village of Patchogue and its community projects. Clare Rose Inc. financially backed St. Joseph’s College’s creation of The Clare Rose Theater, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2010 by holding a memorial service for Clare. Donations were made to Brookhaven Memorial Medical Center, which marked the opening of their emergency facility, the Clare F. Rose Emergency, Trauma & Chest Pain Pavilion, in 2002. Clare Rose was also influential in the opening of the Patchogue YMCA.
Clare Rose Inc. continues its commitment to the community through the education of the public on the hazards of drunk driving. Each year more than $100,000 is allotted to promoting responsible consumption. As a member of the National Beer Wholesale Association, Clare Rose Inc. has also provided educational DVDs to high schools across Long Island in order to educate students on drinking responsibly and only when they are of legal age.
